 Professor Hyun Kyung Chung is a lay theologian of the Presbyterian Church of Korea. Much of her energies and writings are devoted to deepening interfaith dialogue and peacemaking, as well as critical issues in ecumenical theologies. A prolific author and translator of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, Tenzin Robert Thurman is the Je Tsongkhapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University, and co-founder of Tibet House in New York.

Our provocative dialogue on the body and its significance explored numerous topics, including body as a continuum for life, the meaning of the Virgin Mary’s virginity, patriarchal dominance of women in religion, and why even Buddhists may be fearful of root canals.
